Avaya is launching a new version of the telecommunications platform, Avaya IP Office, its flagship messaging solution for small and medium sized enterprises. The Avaya IP Office platform is implemented by Comarch SA.

Avaya IP Office Release 7 improves unified communications and customer service. The latest version of the mobile telecommunications platform, in addition to Avaya, is also working with the telephone brand Nortel. This allows to significantly reduce the cost of upgrading the Nortel platform (whose corporate networks division was acquired by Avaya in 2009) to the latest version of the solution. In addition, the IP Office platform in its latest version works with the entire portfolio of Avaya IP phones - both budgetary models from the 16xx series, and 96xx series phones, designed for the most demanding users. Currently, in addition to regular telephones, Avaya IP Office supports Konftel conference phones.

The new conference phones can be upgraded with additional microphones and are equipped with built-in telephone books. Thanks to OmniSound, terminals provide very good sound quality. Avaya IP Office has the ability to simultaneously conduct a teleconference for 128 users, which, combined with the capabilities of teleconferencing phones, allows to create an efficient and functional audio conference set.

Currently, Avaya IP Office can support up to 372 users in one location, and up to 32 locations in the same subnet. In addition, there are applications that enhance user experience support, such as extended voice mail, or the Contact Center module.
