You will see plenty of Comarch at the show as the company co-presents with its client JetBlue on Oct. 14th, leads a workshop on October 12th, and introduces one of the winners of the Mega Awards on October 13th. Keep your fingers crossed as Comarch was also nominated to win a Mega Award in the category “Most Innovative Loyalty Technology".

Comarch’s and JetBlue’s presentation will discuss the role social media has played in the unprecedented increase in passenger engagement through traditional social media channels and in the new TrueBlue Community. Dave Canty, JetBlue’s director of loyalty marketing and partnerships, will talk about various ways twitter, facebook, and other social media channels were used to the airline’s and passenger’s advantage. In more details, Mr. Canty will explain the reasons behind the JetBlue’s decision to create its own online community that would serve as a two way communication platform between the corporate and its loyalty program members. Marcin Kosciak, the Head of Consulting at Comarch, will provide insight on the technology behind the program and the issues airlines should consider when developing a loyalty strategy that extensively incorporates social media.

In addition to the presentation, Comarch will lead a workshop along with GoSeeTell titled “Social Media and Your Bottom Line.”  The workshop will consist of 4 parts: 1) a hands-on training in the usage of social media; 2) overview of best practices of social media use for airlines; 3) measuring social media effectiveness and ROI; 3) Case study of JetBlue Airways successfully utilizing social media.

The organizers of the event, Airline Information, anticipate that over 300 travel industry professional will attend this year’s conference.
