Comarch has signed a framework agreement with ING Insurance International for Hosting and Managed Services of platform for core insurance systems. It is the consequence of ING Group’s process of separating ING Insurance from ING Bank that started in October 2009. As a part of this disentanglement, ING Insurance International’s companies re-host the ING core applications in Comarch’s data center.
Comarch meets the needs of its customers with respect to data storage by offering dedicated systems to perform backups and a secure location for its storage. Currently we can store 1,000 customer tapes in our safe and 4,000 more can be stored outside it. This can adequately accommodate up to 6 and 24 PB of data using the latest LTO-6 tape technology, or a capacity equal to 1 million Blu-ray discs or 35 million CDs.
Comarch Network Operations Center (NOC) is a comprehensive solution which provides outstanding technical support for all types of businesses and institutions. Thanks to its advanced functions, along with its automated and reliable system to monitor IT environments, this new Comarch service provides instrumental support for both administrators and IT managers. The project cost about 1 million zł, half of the amount was needed for the technical infrastructure. Comarch currently monitors 3500 network devices and two thousand servers for 100 clients from 17 countries.
Money Makers, a company managing customer investments, has chosen Comarch Data Center as a center for hosting the asset management system. Money Makers will use a full range of hosting services and receive a dedicated computing environment along with maintenance and administration at a very high level, guaranteed by SLA agreement.
Since 2000, the network of Authorized Partners of Renault Poland have been benefiting from IT infrastructure outsourcing provided by Comarch. Another contract has been signed in this long-term cooperation, which includes licensees in Poland and abroad.
Comarch has begun work to obtain the ISAE 3402 report regarding services provided by Comarch Data Center. In the first half of 2011 Comarch will receive a report of Type I and a Type II report by the end of 2011. Beginning in June of 2011, the ISAE 3402 Report will replace the SAS 70 standard, which is the standard which is currently prevalent in the market.
