Insurance Market Leader DZI will Use Comarch PowerCloud
We are happy to inform you that DZI, an insurance market leader in Bulgaria, has signed a five-year contract with Comarch to use our PowerCloud platform for hosting and system maintenance/administration purposes. Migration to PowerCloud was performed in Q4 2021, and DZI is already using our solution.
Established in 1946, DZI (a Bulgarian acronym for State Insurance Institute) has the most considerable experience in the Bulgarian insurance market. The company develops and provides a wide range of general insurance and life insurance products, as well as others related to health insurance. It has been part of the Belgian banking and insurance group called KBC since 2007 – and now it is partnering up with Comarch to improve the efficiency of its IT infrastructure.
Comarch provided DZI with its PowerCloud platform, a ready-to-use solution that enables IBM POWER system™ users to migrate their traditional IT infrastructures to the cloud. Not only does it guarantee full technical support, but it also comes with an extensive portfolio of managed services. Following the newly signed contract, Comarch will be responsible for hosting and maintaining DZI’s core insurance system for the next five years.
