Comarch wins the 2018 Loyalty Awards

Loyalty award for ComarchGreat success! At the 10th Annual Loyalty Conference & Awards in Bangkok – global loyalty event for travel industry, the Comarch Social Mining solution won the first prize in the Best Supplier Initiative category.

 

The process of selecting the winners took place in two stages. First, a jury of experienced professionals reviewed and evaluated all the submitted solutions in five categories:

  • Best Marketing Campaign
  • Best Use of Technology
  • Best Loyalty Partnership
  • Excellence in Management
  • Best Supplier Initiative

Comarch Social Mining was a challenger in the last category, which required from creators the development of an innovative solution (software, hardware or mobile application) that meaningfully boosted sales, profitability, effectiveness and/or the reputation of an FFP or airline.

Entrants were then narrowed down to a shortlist of three finalists, each being given the opportunity to deliver a presentation about their product to the audience gathered at the conference. The goal of each presentation was to persuade delegates – the ultimate judges – to cast their votes for the solution.

Comarch Loyalty Management enriched by Comarch Social Mining gathers loyalty and social media data in a single database allowing to discover the most influential loyalty program members, manage brand reputation, and run competitor’s analysis. All features are available from a single user interface to ensure that the conducted loyalty program is a genuine success – the summary of awarded project presentation by Comarch representatives.

However, our stay in Bangkok was not only receiving (of course well deserved!) awards. The Annual Loyalty Conference & Awards is a great opportunity to learn more about new technologies and trends in loyalty in the travel industry: airlines, airports, hotels, etc. The meeting gathers the most important professionals and experts who are eager to share their experiences and knowledge.

The main topics discussed at the conference were:

  • The future of customer loyalty and how AI is changing the travel industry?
  • How to change your FFP to a revenue basis?
  • Is there a future for spinning off loyalty programmes?
  • How social media works in China?
  • How loyalty programmes fit in to the new mobile payment landscape?

Among the speakers there were specialists from Comarch as well as our clients. At Comarch invitation, Patricia Ray, the Loyalty Programs Director from Enterprise Rent-A-Car conducted an interesting and in-depth presentation: "Getting Out of Our Bubble", focused on loyalty programs in multichannel marketing.
