Comarch focuses on Asia. ASEAN countries are key markets now.

Comarch – Polish manufacturer and supplier of IT services and solutions – has taken a strategic decision to strengthen its presence in Asian markets and opened a branch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Asian brands using innovative Comarch solutions include Malaysian carrier Air Asia, Cebu Pacific (Philippines), Vingroup (Vietnam), and TMB Bank (Thailand). Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are also the locations of Comarch Data Centers.

In 2015 Comarch Malaysia concentrated on promoting and offering solutions addressed to the telecommunication, finance and services sectors.

Comarch is a global IT solutions provider. Recently, it became a producer of innovative electronic devices for remote monitoring of health status and entered the Internet of Things (IoT) market. Many Comarch’s products, e.g. loyalty or billing systems OSS/BSS, have been recognized by leading analytical firms such as  Gartner and IDC and they are regularly appreciated as high quality solutions.

Until now, Malaysian market was supported from the Middle East via Comarch office in Dubai. According to Jaroslaw Włudyka, Comarch Malaysia Country Manager, more than a half of Comarch’s global revenue is generated outside Poland. Comarch has clients in countries located on five different continents.

Dynamic growth in Asia, where we observe high demand for advanced IT systems, is only a matter of time. Among local customers our loyalty system, M2M solution for telecommunications companies and Wealth Management for banks are particularly popular – explains Jaroslaw Włudyka, Country Manager at Comarch Malaysia.

Comarch started its operations in Southeast Asia in 2015. The team currently consists of consulting experts and sales representatives, who specialize in loyalty and customer relationship management (CRM) as well as IT outsourcing, infrastructure and Data Centers. Moreover, Comarch Malaysia focuses on the development and sale of systems for financial institutions, insurance companies and telecommunications service providers.

The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1999. In 2014, Comarch generated 244 million euros of revenue. It currently employs over 5000 experts in 71 offices in 24 countries: from Asia, via Europe, all the way to Chile. In 2015 the company also opened a new office in Malaysia.

 

In the first nine months of 2015, revenue from sales of the Comarch Group was 177,7 million EURO, an increase of 13,2 million EURO, or 8,1% %, compared to the corresponding period in 2014. The operating profit amounted to 11.9 million EURO. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was of 8.9 million EURO. Operating profitability in the period amounted to +6.7%, while net margin +5%. In the said period Comarch Group generated an EBITDA of 21.6 million EURO.
