Comarch Unveils New Data Center Near Phoenix, AZ
Comarch, a global leader in IT solutions and services, has announced the opening of its new 32,000 square foot data center in Phoenix, Arizona. The North American flagship facility is designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, secure, and reliable private cloud and colocation services in the US.
With an already established IT dominance globally, including 20 years in the customer loyalty marketplace - Comarch is no stranger to the U.S. market. They were recently named as one of the top 12 most significant loyalty technology solutions, according to a recent Forrester report. Additionally, Comarch’s data exchange and document management division connects over 130,000 entities around the world, including the United States — exchanging 650+ million documents every year.
The location was chosen based on several cost-saving and risk mitigation factors. Decreasing energy costs, a robust existing infrastructure, a lack of natural disasters, and business-friendly statutes in the area all played a role in the company’s new data center investment.
The new data center will offer a range of services, including managed services, cloud hosting, colocation, disaster recovery, and backup services. It will also offer meet-me rooms (MMR) to allow clients to connect to one or more carriers - enabling Fortune 500 clients to easily access and transfer their data.
The Phoenix data center is equipped with state-of-the-art servers, including redundant power and advanced cooling systems, including two standby diesel fuel engine generators. As of now, four server rooms with 160 rack cabinets are supported by a fiber optical backbone that is designed to meet both the Uptime Institute’s Tier 3 Data Center Classification System and TIA 942 certification.
