Comarch, Hatif Libya and Makman Technology Consulting have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) defining the next phase of their strategic cooperation in the area of Autonomous Networks.

The memorandum was signed at Comarch headquarters in Kraków by Marcin Kaleta, CEO of the Telecommunication Division at Comarch, Ahmad Jaafar, CEO of Hatif Libya, and Zackaria Farhat, Vice President at Makman Technology Consulting.

The agreement builds on the previously validated value of Comarch’s solutions in Hatif’s operational environment, following successful cooperation on Zero-Touch and network automation. These initiatives confirmed the ability of the Comarch platform to deliver tangible operational benefits and to operate effectively within the specific network and business context of the operator.

With this memorandum, we move from validation to execution, defining a joint roadmap toward higher levels of network autonomy. Our cooperation aims to progressively extend automation across the service lifecycle, leveraging TM Forum standards and Open Digital Architecture to ensure scalability, interoperability and long-term sustainability”, says Marcin Kaleta, CEO of the Telecommunications Division at Comarch.

Ahmad Jafaar, CEO of Hatif Libya, adds: “The memorandum marks another important milestone in the long-term partnership between Hatif Libya, Makman and Comarch. It establishes a foundation for continued collaboration focused on measurable value, standards-based automation and the gradual realization of full network autonomy”.

Zackaria Farhat, Vice President at Makman Technology Consulting, emphasizes: “The agreement reflects our shared vision of moving beyond isolated automation use cases toward a holistic, standards-driven approach to Autonomous Networks. By combining Comarch’s technology capabilities with Hatif Libya’s operational expertise, we are creating a practical framework that can be replicated by operators across the region to accelerate their digital and network transformation journeys”.

As part of the initiative, Comarch, Hatif Libya and Makman intend to develop a reference implementation for Autonomous Networks, designed to serve as a benchmark for similar transformation programs among telecommunications operators across Africa. The roadmap addresses both operational efficiency and future service innovation, supporting a structured evolution toward fully autonomous network operations.
