Comarch has released the beta version of Comarch Travel Assistant for Airlines, a mobile application developed to meet the needs of airline passengers. The product offers full interaction with an airline along every phase of a journey and offers most features of an airline website.

Comarch Travel Assistant for Airlines offers management of an air journey along the whole cycle of a travel process. The application allows passengers to search flight schedules via a number of criteria, purchase tickets with the use of a credit card or an Internet payment provider, as well as to manage already made searches and bookings.

As smartphones grow in popularity, the application provides users with mobile check-in where they can choose their favourite seat in the airplane. A digital boarding pass can be generated as well - reducing necessity for printing and declining paper waste.

Mobile applications provide airlines with a new channel of communication with their clients in airports. Comarch Travel Assistant for Airlines powers distribution of personalised notifications at check-in counters and gate numbers that are sent straight to the hands of passengers. Upgrades on flight status are displayed as well. The product enables contact continuation between an airline and its passengers once they reach their travel destinations. Comarch Travel Assistant for Airlines includes city guides that take care of a client in the destination city. Having relaxed after a journey, airline clients can now manage their FFP membership via a smartphone and check availability of desired redemption awards.
