The potential of the Eastern German economy was the thematic focal point of this year's Ostdeutsches Wirtschaftsforum (Eastern German Economic Forum). Senior experts discussed the central issues that the future holds regarding industrial policy, the perspectives of digitization as well as the role of the Eastern German economy on the European market. In his speech on the benefits the EU's eastern enlargement brings for the advancement of innovative IT technologies, Michal Pruski, speaker of Comarch AG, also focused on the strengths of future technology and international connectivity.

From 20 to 22 May 2019, a group of high-ranking experts discussed new ideas for a political, scientific and economic agenda. During the panel "Zeitwende: international" (Eng: turning point: international), Michal Pruski introduced some of the innovations and investments made by Comarch AG. The company's Dresden office cooperates with an entire network of other Comarch locations on developing future-oriented technologies such as hardware and software and implementing them with a large number of customers. A vast number of German companies, including Hermes, TÜV Süd, MediaMarktSaturn Group, Metro, REWE, or KiK, rely on Comarch's solutions, as do local enterprises such as Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen or Konsum Dresden.
