Comarch CardioNow LiteOne device, three possibilities for remote ECG monitoring
Comarch CardioNow Lite is a Holter ECG recorder designed for surface recording of myocardial electrical activity (ECG). It is a certified medical device that can be used both in the home environment (Holter and Tele Holter mode) and in the hospital environment (Holter mode), excluding intensive care units (ICUs).
Comarch CardioNow Lite is ideal for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring for both diagnostic and preventive purposes, including:
- patients with heart disease, such as ischaemic disease or heart failure,
- people after a heart attack, ischaemic stroke or cardiac surgery,
- people who may need regular preventive heart health care,
- in the diagnosis of arrhythmias (both symptomatic and asymptomatic), as well as after episodes of syncope.
- The device offers three options for remote ECG monitoring. In combination with a 5 – or 10-electrode ECG module, it allows for a 7 – and 12-lead ECG signal respectively. In addition, it is available in a variant with a long-term test belt.
- The Comarch CardioNow Lite test can be performed on both adults and children weighing more than 10 kg. For paediatric diagnostics, only Holter mode is allowed. Only qualified medical personnel are authorised to perform signal analysis.
- The entire record of an ECG test carried out using Comarch CardioNow Lite can be wirelessly transmitted to the Comarche Care 2.0 platform. Thanks to this integration, a complete description of the examination can be produced even before the device returns to the medical facility.
Main advantages of the device
Two recording modes – Holter (offline) and Tele Holter (online)
Detection of cardiac arrhythmias
Reduced response time in the event of a health or life threat
24/7 remote monitoring of patient’s condition
Ability to use the function button in certain cases
AI-assisted signal analysis
Possibility to perform 3 types of tests
Automatic backup of studies on the device up to 30 days back
Three variants of Comarch CardioNow Lite
Variant with 5-electrode ECG plug-in
The 7-lead Holter with 5-electrode ECG plugin provides monitoring of heart rhythm, allowing detection of key abnormalities such as atrial fibrillation or tachycardia. This variant of the test is suitable to detect suspected cardiac arrhythmias.

Variant with 10-electrode ECG plug-in
The 12-lead Holter with 10-electrode ECG plug-in is a diagnostic tool that can detect a wider range of arrhythmias while offering detailed information on their characteristics. Using 10 electrodes, the Holter is able to record complex patterns of electrical heart activity. It is a particularly valuable diagnostic tool for patients qualified for ablation of supraventricular or ventricular arrhythmias.

Variant with a long-term study lane
The long-term test belt records one ECG lead and can detect atrial fibrillation, pauses, tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia. Thanks to its mobility and easy application, the belt is ideal for daily use, allowing patients to lead their normal lives while being monitored. Long-term testing is particularly important as many cardiac arrhythmias occur sporadically, in which case traditional short-term ECG testing may not be sufficient to make an accurate diagnosis.

Comarch S.A. has implemented and certified a quality management system for medical devices ISO 13485. Comarch CardioNow Lite is a medical device certified in accordance with EU Regulation 2017/745 (MDR).
Three variants of Comarch CardioNow Lite operating in two different modes
Holter (offline mode)
Holter testing is performed offline and allows measurement data to be stored on the device card. The recorded ECG signal, once the test is complete, is subjected to automatic analysis carried out by the Comarch Holter software. During the examination, the patient has the option to use the function button in situations agreed in advance with the doctor, e.g. when feeling unwell. This indication will be visible to the medical staff when analysing the ECG signal.

Tele Holter
The Tele Holter test enables cyclical transmission of several minutes’ packets of the ECG signal and recording of the entire signal on the device’s memory card. The ECG signal packets are analysed by the CMAP algorithmic platform. Then, if disturbances are detected by the artificial intelligence algorithms, they will be displayed in the Comarch ECG Viewer 2.0 software. Analysis of the full ECG signal and generation of a report for the patient are possible from the integrated Comarch Holter software.

Benefits for a medical facility
