From 2019 to 2025, Joanna headed the M&A department at Play (iliad group), where she was responsible for transactions on the Polish market and supported iliad Group projects across Europe. She was the author and executor of the "buy or build" program regarding infrastructure projects, collaborating with the French fund InfraVia and Polski Światłowód Otwarty. Previously, she was associated with investment banking at Trigon, where she advised entrepreneurs and funds on IPOs, M&A projects, and financing processes.

Her experience includes a number of key transactions in the TMT market, such as the LiveChat IPO, the acquisition of Polkomtel by Cyfrowy Polsat Group, the acquisition of UPC from Liberty Global, the sale of passive infrastructure to Cellnex, and negotiations for the acquisition of part of the infrastructure from Vectra Group.

At Comarch, Joanna Ormińska will be responsible for, among other things, supporting transformation processes through acquisitions and optimization of the business portfolio, collaborating with teams and external partners in transaction execution, integrating acquired entities, and developing team competencies.
