On September 25th-26th 2014, Kraków became the capital of finance – not only Polish, but also the world’s one. Comarch Financial Services Day 2014 welcomed the representatives of banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, particularly interested in new technologies and an innovative approach to the development of their institutions.
During two days of the conference the guests discussed, among others, the future of banking and capital markets. The experts also presented some case studies of Comarch’s successful implementation projects in the financial institutions, i.e. in Italian UniCredit, BGK or Société Générale. Comarch Financial Services Day 2014 was also an opportunity to showcase two modern tools: Comarch tPro and Comarch Beacon, designed to support the sales process, e.g., in the form of an application for notifications or mobile transactions, as well as for maintaining maximum protection of sensitive data.
Comarch Conference Centre welcomed guests from abroad and representatives of global companies and financial institutions: Koen Room (Ergo), David Jaegly (Société Générale), Heiko De Simone (UniCredit), Benjamin Ensor (Forrester), Leszek Maśniak (Gartner Inc.), Piotr Zacharek (Hewlett-Packard), Jacek Biedrzycki (ING Securities) and Paweł Zapotoczny (BGK). The special guest was Maj. Rocco A. Spencer (Leadership Source), a US Army Infantry Officer, who presented in a charismatic way the relationship between technology and leadership. The first day of Comarch Financial Services Day ended at Cracovia Stadium, where the match between the representation of the conference guests and employees of Comarch was held, rich in sudden twists of action and excitement.
The second day of the conference was divided into four thematic panels: capital markets, insurance, research & development and corpo retail & banking. Presentations on the second day gave an overview on the latest trends in modern banking, insurance, cyber security and capital markets.
