Mastering E-Invoicing in the Philippines: Business Lunch in Manila
On April 28, we hosted our exclusive E-Invoicing Business Lunch in Manila, and it’s safe to say the event was a massive success! We brought together a fantastic group of CFOs, Tax Directors, and IT Compliance Leads to discuss a topic that is top-of-mind for everyone in the region right now: the BIR’s new Electronic Invoicing and Receipting System (EIS) mandate. As the Philippines moves from manual processes, we wanted to assist finance leaders in navigating the complexities, avoiding typical implementation issues, and leveraging the opportunities of digitalization.

The morning kicked off with our Executive Sales Director, Julia Sobolewska, who set the stage by mapping out the digital landscape and sharing Comarch’s long-term vision for the Philippines.
From there, we got into the real weeds of the mandate. Jakub Krawczyk, our Senior Legal Compliance Expert, led a brilliant, deep-dive session on EIS requirements, technical readiness, and how to stay legally compliant without disrupting day-to-day operations. The discussions were expertly moderated by Giselle Geronimo, VP and Head of Finance, Accounting & Procurement at Shearwater Health CPO.
The interest from the attendees was incredible, and the discussions were highly active. Reflecting on the success of the event and the dynamic exchange of ideas during the presentations, Julia noted:

Following the presentations, participants had the chance to connect with peers during an executive networking brunch and map their specific IT and compliance roadmaps with the help of Comarch’s Legal and Technical Architects during 1:1 sessions.
