Comarch Featured on the First List of Service Providers Applying for Accreditation in Slovakia
We are proud to announce that Comarch has been officially registered on the list of entities applying for e-invoicing accreditation in Slovakia. This key milestone confirms our active participation in the process and places us on a clear, straightforward path to full certification. Once the accreditation process is complete, we will be fully authorized to support businesses operating in the Slovak market with the new regulatory requirements coming into force at the beginning of 2027.
Slovakia joins the growing list of European countries implementing a mandatory e-invoicing system. Document exchange and digital reporting will occur through a network based on the Peppol standard. The entire infrastructure will be managed exclusively by certified providers, ensuring the highest level of security and full compliance with European delivery standards.
Built on the Peppol architecture, our platform will be fully compliant with the requirements of the Slovak Ministry of Finance and the Financial Administration (Finančná správa), all while maintaining the highest standards of data security.
Prepare for the 2027 Mandate
Under the new regulations, companies operating in Slovakia will face a two-stage digital transformation:
- January 1, 2027: Slovak VAT payers will be legally required to issue and receive structured e‑invoices for specified domestic supplies (B2B and B2G) to taxable persons and certain non-taxable legal entities. Invoices must be issued within 15 days of the transaction date. The files must be in a structured electronic format that enables automatic processing, aligned with the EU e‑invoicing standard and the syntaxes referenced by the VAT Act.
- July 1, 2030: The obligation expands to cover cross-border intra-EU transactions.
The transition to a model based on the Peppol network and structured data (such as XML) marks the end of traditional paper invoices and simple PDF files that require manual data entry. Since all data exchange must pass through authorized nodes (Peppol Access Points), choosing the right technological partner is essential for maintaining business continuity.
Being on the road to official accreditation underlines our long-term commitment to the Slovak market. Our solution is ready to guide you safely toward the January 2027 mandate, ensuring your business operations continue without interruption when the new rules take effect.
