Comarch Approved as an Accredited Service Provider for Oman’s Fawtara E-Invoicing Mandate
Comarch is now an Approved Accredited Service Provider (ASP) for e-invoicing in Oman. Following its earlier pre-approval, Comarch has completed the Oman Tax Authority’s (OTA) accreditation process, confirming that its platform meets the requirements for service providers operating within the Fawtara e-invoicing framework. Businesses in Oman can now rely on Comarch for e-invoicing services fully in line with local legal and technical requirements.
What ASP Status Means for Businesses in Oman
Fawtara, Oman’s national e-invoicing framework built on the Peppol network, operates on a 5-corner model linking the supplier, the supplier’s service provider, the buyer’s service provider, the buyer, and the OTA. Invoices flow through accredited service providers rather than directly between trading partners, which makes choosing the right provider a core part of compliance.
Full approval confirms that Comarch’s platform meets the OTA’s technical, security, and regulatory standards for participation in Fawtara. For companies at any stage of the rollout, it means a ready, approved partner for the move to compliant, real-time invoice exchange without disruption to day-to-day operations.
Details on the service provider criteria are available on the Oman Tax Authority’s official website.
