Qatar Approves Draft Law on e-Invoicing
On May 6, 2026, the Qatari Cabinet officially approved a draft law and its accompanying executive regulations to introduce electronic invoicing in the country. The proposed legislation, developed by the Ministry of Finance in coordination with the General Tax Authority (GTA), establishes a formal legal framework to govern the issuance of e-invoices and associated electronic notices.
