The Public Revenue Office (PRO) of North Macedonia has initiated the third testing phase for its national e-invoicing platform, the e-Faktura system.

Completion of Phase Two API Enhancements

The preceding second phase recently concluded, delivering new API functionalities. These technical updates enable users to download, accept, reject, and cancel electronic invoices.

Furthermore, phase two broadened the system’s tax indicators to include standard and reduced VAT rates, VAT exemptions, out-of-scope supplies, and reverse charge transactions.

Phase Three Web Application Rollout

As part of the third phase, the PRO will introduce a dedicated web application accessible to all taxpayers. This new application will allow businesses to test the complete lifecycle of a general invoice with 12 tax indicators, covering document creation, transmission, acceptance, rejection, and cancellation.

PRO strongly encourages companies to actively participate in testing the web application and submit their feedback to help refine the national e-invoicing system prior to its formal rollout.
