Munich, April 24, 2012 – Comarch has come out on top in the bidding of Finanz Informatik, the IT service provider of Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. In the future, modules of both Comarch Financials Enterprise and Comarch ERP Enterprise will be used for asset accounting and the “gift book” at Sparkasse banks.

- We finally chose Comarch out of about 20 providers since Comarch Financials Enterprise and Comarch ERP Enterprise are web-based state-of-the-art systems which can be excellently integrated into our company’s overall banking solution OSPlus (One System Plus). This will also facilitate the change to the new software. OSPlus is an advanced overall banking solution based on modern architecture, which is already used at savings banks as well as four regional state banks throughout Germany, explains Manfred Auner, divisional director for customer analysis and cost accounting of Finanz Informatik.

The go-live of the new asset accounting in OSPlus and the “gift book” is planned for 2013. Comarch will implement both the asset accounting module of Comarch Financials Enterprise and the “gift book” based on the materials management module of Comarch ERP Enterprise.

Comarch ERP Enterprise is a platform-independent business software which has been developed completely in Java and can be operated intuitively. Comarch Financials Enterprise is a state-of-the-art solution for financial and asset accounting as well as controlling. Both IT solutions are part of Comarch e-Enterprise Produkte, an all-round package offered by Comarch. This package includes applications for ERP, financial accounting, business intelligence, document management (ECM), and electronic data interchange (EDI).

Furthermore, Finanz Informatik has commissioned Comarch to develop an OSPlus portal interface corresponding to the OSPlus interface style guide for the asset accounting and “gift book,” which is to be integrated into the company’s overall OSPLus banking solution. Thus, the proven IT solution of Finanz Informatik will soon be complemented by the modules of Comarch.
