Comarch Joins the B20 Summit for the Fourth Time
Polish Company Advises G20 Leaders in the United States
Representatives of Comarch will take part in the B20 Summit, where the global business community develops recommendations for the heads of state and government of the G20 countries. The event will take place in the United States on November 9–11. This marks Comarch’s fourth involvement in the B20. In recent years, the company has been the only Polish technology company to officially participate in the work of this prestigious forum.
The B20 Summit is the leading forum for dialogue between the global business community and the leaders of the world’s largest economies (G20). This year, the United States is hosting the event for the first time, represented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. As is customary, the summit precedes the G20 Leaders’ Summit, which will take place in Miami in December 2026.
Digitalization, AI and Security
Digital transformation remains one of the key priorities on this year’s summit agenda and is regarded as a fundamental driver of innovation and growth. Comarch is actively helping to shape this approach. The company has been involved with the B20 since 2022, when, at the summit in Indonesia, Professor Janusz Filipiak highlighted the importance of autonomous economies in the global market.
In subsequent years, during India's G20 presidency in 2023 and Brazil's in 2024, representatives of the Polish company served, among other roles, in the B20 Digital Transformation Task Force, one of seven dedicated task forces. They actively contributed to developing official recommendations on cybersecurity, digital trust and the responsible use of AI. Polish experts successfully brought together the goals of global technological innovation and the European approach to regulation.
A Global Voice for Business
More than 1,000 delegates participate in B20 working groups each year, while its network of institutional partners brings together organizations representing millions of companies across more than 170 countries. Within the technology-focused task forces, Comarch collaborates with representatives of global industry leaders such as Google, Microsoft, Siemens, Mastercard, Amazon/AWS, Orange, Lenovo, OpenAI and Starlink.
B20 experts work throughout the year, analyzing challenges from a range of perspectives – from basic digitalization in developing countries to advanced approaches to technology deployment security in developed economies. The overarching goal is to provide G20 policymakers with concrete reform proposals that stimulate economic growth, facilitate trade and create new jobs.
