P&V Expands Digital Insurance With Comarch Solutions

P&V has tasked Comarch with strengthening their digital transformation, implementing Employee Benefits solution.

Comarch is pleased to announce the continuing cooperation with P&V Group in enhancing their digital insurance. P&V decided on the expansion of the Comarch Digital Insurance solution already implemented in the Life Insurance business with the transformation of the Employee Benefits Business line.

The P&V Group provides insurance solutions to individuals, the self-employed, and companies through multiple brands (P&V and Vivium) and distribution channels. Presently, over 1 million customers trust the P&V Group. In the ‘Employee Benefits’ segment (second pillar group insurance), the P&V Group ranks among the top three in the Belgian market.

Recently, the close cooperation between Comarch, Ensur and P&V resulted in winning the Digital Trophy at the prestigious Decavi Life-Insurance Awards ceremony, which was a major recognition of the P&V Group’s and Comarch’s commitment to innovation and the continuous improvement of their services to their customers.

Apart from the already fruitful cooperation between the companies since 2020, this decision comes thanks to Comarch’s successful track record, solution, and experience in Employee Benefits. Comarch aims to fully adjust its Employee Benefit solution to the Belgian market specifications and requirements.

  • Comarch Digital Insurance - an omnichannel front office tool, consisting of a Distributor Module for brokers and back-office users, and an Employer Portal for managing the members and pension plans.
  • Comarch Life Insurance - a back-office system for Policy & Contract Administration and Investment Management for Branch21 and Branch23.
  • Comarch Insurance Claims - for managing of death claims and pensions.

The target platform will manage Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Hybrid & Cash Balance products. One of the primary objectives of the project is to maintain a high level of automation, enabling transactions to be processed entirely automatically (STP). Additional goals encompass data migration and platform implementation within a cloud environment.

The existing cooperation between Comarch and P&V Group ensures trust in the implementation of the new system and its associated benefits, while the digital platform offers much needed flexibility in terms of adapting the solution to both client expectations and market legal requirements.
