Combining sports with social responsibility to support the Rak’n’Roll Foundation
A two-stage summer sports and charity campaign aimed at Comarch employees and interns has come to an end. As part of this initiative - combining the promotion of physical activity with corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals—the company donated a total of PLN 14,000 to the Rak’n’Roll Foundation.
The main objective of the campaign was to mobilize the team around a healthy lifestyle while supporting individuals undergoing cancer treatment. The project was based on logging kilometers across two sections—the running section, ComarchONrun, and the cycling section, ComarchONbike—where every kilometer covered translated directly into financial support for the foundation.
Throughout the initiative, runners and cyclists from the Comarch team demonstrated immense commitment, covering tens of thousands of kilometers in total. In August alone, participants logged over 20,000 kilometers on their routes, comprising 4,000 kilometers run and nearly 18,000 kilometers cycled.
Thanks to the effort and determination of all participants, Comarch transferred a total of PLN 14,000 to the Rak’n’Roll Foundation's account. The donated funds will be allocated to therapeutic programs, medical care, and psychological support for the foundation’s beneficiaries.
This initiative once again demonstrated that Comarch's corporate culture is rooted in authentic engagement in social projects. Hitting the trails together proved to be not only a great opportunity for team integration and staying fit, but above all, a source of tangible support for those in need.
