Market dynamics and economic potential of Latin America, as well as growing interest in Comarch systems in the region were the main factors that stand behind the opening of a subsidiary of the Comarch Capital Group in Santiago de Chile.
- Chile is a dynamically growing country in South America and a strong economy that’s friendly to foreign investors, which is why we decided to open the new office in Santiago - says Andrzej Przewiezlikowski , Director of Loyalty & Marketing Solutions at Comarch.
According to the Latin Business Index 2013 report, featured in the Latin Business Chronicle magazine, Chile is the leader among other Latin American countries in terms of market openness and ease of doing business. It is followed by Panama, Peru, Mexico and Costa Rica. The index focuses on five main categories: macroeconomic environment, corporate environment, globalization and competitiveness, infrastructure level, and political environment. All these countries also show strong rates of growth and low levels of inflation in the past year.
Comarch’s new Chilean office will be responsible for the local sales of CRM & marketing solutions for enterprises, as well as IT systems for telecommunication.
Comarch has been successfully developing its presence in the region for many years, resulting in contracts with customers that include Brazilian Azul Airlines, Dominican Banco Popular, as well as telecoms and cable operators, such as Belize Telemedia Limited, Cable Onda in Panama and Mexican CableCom.
Comarch is also currently implementing a loyalty management program for one of the largest financial groups in Chile.
Recently a leading cable operator from Ecuador, Grupo TVCable, decided to implement Comarch Field Service Management (FSM). For more than eight years Comarch has been supporting the Ecuadorian operator in implementing the strategy of improving customer satisfaction with its IT solutions for billing, customer service and network management.
- For over 8 years Comarch has supported us in realizing the vision of customer-focused operations, with the help of their billing, customer management and OSS systems. The Field Service Management System is a next step forward in pursuing our customer-centric strategy, as it will ensure technical support to be in the exact location right on time, which will work to the benefit of both customer satisfaction and our position on the Ecuadorian market, says Jorge Schwartz, President of TVCable.
- The project for TVCable is a big step in increasing Comarch’s presence on the Latin American markets. Our flexible FSM solution is already being used by many cable operators worldwide, and has proven to address their current challenges and business needs. What’s important, Comarch will take full responsibility for the major integration with numerous systems already used for service activation and technical measurements, says Darius Ner, President of Comarch Inc.
