Comarch Software und Beratung AG. In November 2008 Comarch acquired SoftM Software und Beratung AG, the German software producer. After the share purchase notice had been settled Comarch Software AG became the owner of 80.89% of the company’s initial capital. SoftM is a software producer and IT system integrator with a 2% share in the German ERP market. The SoftM group employs nearly four-hundred-and-twenty people and operates in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, the Czech Republic and Poland, providing over four thousand customers with IT services and solutions. The flagship products are the following systems: Semiramis, SharkNex and SoftM Suite. SoftM directs its offer mainly to small and medium enterprises. At the SoftM Software und Beratung AG annual general meeting in Munich (18.06.2010), the board set out the company's strategy as a full-service provider for small and medium-sized businesses. The company plans to invest heavily in product development whilst also increasing direct and indirect sales in order to boost its market share. The annual general meeting approved the decision to rebrand the company as Comarch Software und Beratung AG and thereby increase the focus on the Comarch brand. www.comarch.de
