French Tax Administration releases the Registered PDP candidates list

In January, the French Tax Administration published a list of entities applying for certification of their electronic invoicing solutions as a Partner Dematerialization Platform. This action precludes the certification process itself. Publishing the list of ongoing applications indicates work on the system continues despite numerous delays to its planned introduction date.

A registered private platform (PDP) is a service provider responsible for forwarding invoices in dematerialized format from the supplier to the receiving platform of the customer and will have to extract specific data from these invoices and forward the information to the tax authority.

Comarch is a close observer of the development process of the new e-invoicing system. We have been participating in a series of PDP registration workshops to gain the legal and technical knowledge necessary to operate as a registered platform. Through close participation with the authorities throughout all stages of the system’s development, we intend to be able to provide the best level of service as a PDP right from the start of the mandate, whenever it is introduced.
