Connect With Comarch at UTC Region 3 Meeting and Broadband Workshop

Comarch has become a Gold Sponsor of two joint events organized by the Utilities Technology Council: the UTC Region 3 Meeting and the Broadband Workshop taking place from March 5 – 6 and March 6 – 8 respectively. The company will participate in both conferences that will take place in Madren Conference Center & Inn in Clemson, SC, USA.

The Utilities Technology Council (UTC) is a global association connecting telecommunications and utility enterprises together. Their UTC Region 3 Meeting provides them with educational opportunities, insight into local telecom challenges influencing the entire Southeast USA region, and many more.

The Broadband Workshop, which will be held immediately after the UTC Region 3 Meeting, focuses on issues specific to utility companies building broadband infrastructure. Many utility providers are building broadband infrastructure in the area. The workshop will cover how utilities can employ broadband to support their own operations, provide commercial services, or lease to third-party providers. It will address a gap in the market for broadband conferences as well as meet UTC members' demands for information on utility broadband. It also sets this event apart from other broadband conferences that merely discuss broadband in general.

During the Broadband Workshop event, Piotr (Peter) Stoklosa, Director of Business Development at Comarch and David McKinnon, Principal Technical Project Manager (retired Chief of Staff) at PG&E, will be a speaker for the “Why changes in the network are taking so long. Implementation of an operational support system (OSS) for a PG&E to address network change delays” panel.
