S7 Airlines is a member of the oneworld ® global aviation alliance. The airline has the widest internal route network in Russia, created on the basis of air transport hubs at Moscow (Domodedovo) and Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo). S7 Airlines also performs regular flights to countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe, the Near East, South Asia and countries of the Asia Pacific region. It is one of the most stable airline companies in Russia thanks to the use of the latest advances in the international passenger services field, and active development of its own services. Business Challenges

The airline decided to launch its own frequent flyer program in order to increase traffic by granting points for miles flown. In addition, both the network structure as well as the business model of the carrier perfectly suited the airline for membership in an airline alliance. In 2010 S7 joined the Oneworld ® alliance to achieve synergy with airline partners all over the world. This resulted in a demand for an innovative and reliable IT system that would support the frequent flyer program. The IT system had to be ready for the rapid growth of members and be open for integration with similar programs of airline alliance partners.

The Solution

S7 Airlines chose the Comarch Loyalty Management for Airlines system to empower the re-launch of its loyalty program. The following modules have been implemented:

  • Business Administration module - gives the loyalty program manager an endless number of accrual and
