Pfeifer & Langen automates its procurement processes and service agreements with Comarch ECM
Pfeifer & Langen, a manufacturing company which includes sugar factories, has signed an agreement for the implementation of the Comarch ECM. The parent company is located in Cologne, Germany. Since its founding in 1870 it has remained a family business, presently as one of the leading companies on the sugar market in Europe. More than 200 employees of Pfeifer & Langen have been using Comarch ECM since January 2013.
Pfeifer & Langen chose Comarch ECM, which became utilized in the following areas of business :
• Scanning and indexing of paper documents
• Circulation of purchase invoices
• Document management and sales invoice attachments
• Circulation of agreements
The system supports tens of thousands of documents per month, and its implementation has accelerated internal document workflow, while improving handling of paper documents and automating workflow purchasing and contracts.
