In April, new Russian and Ukrainian versions of the Comarch ECOD website were launched for clients in Eastern European markets.
Comarch has achieved Gold status with Websense. According to Gartner, Websense is the highest positioned supplier of systems for protection against Web-based threats. Gold status is reserved for partners who have a good understanding of how to sell and support the Websense portfolio and is a reward to those who have a commitment to the Websense business strategy and who invest in technical competence.
During the first quarter of 2010 Comarch in Ukraine has established cooperation for electronic document exchange with the retail chains of Rukavychka, Obzhora and EVA. Comarch ECOD Platform is now being used by international and regional market leaders in the retail & FMCG industries: Metro Cash & Carry, Auchan, Fozzy, Furshet, Kviza Trade.
Beginning in 2009, Comarch ECOD is active in Asia. After six months of operations in Vietnam, Comarch has already won 200 customers in this market. As a result, many vendors are ready to receive orders from Metro Vietnam through the ECOD platform. Talks with other chains, that will also be implementing electronic document exchange (EDI - Electronic Data Interchange) soon, are also in progress.
Comarch and Mattel Poland Sp zoo signed an agreement for the implementation and maintenance of ECOD, a business communication and reporting platform. The system will enable regular reporting of information about inventory and resale statuses to retail customers from an external network of distributors.
