More and more customers are noticing the benefits of e-invoices

Since 2005 companies in Poland can use electronic invoices. More and more companies have decided to discontinue paper invoices and introduce their electronic equivalent, perceiving their enormous benefits - certainty of delivery, full control, lower costs and higher speed of transfer and access to data.

According to current figures, over 2,500 companies send hundreds of thousands of e- invoices via the Comarch ECOD Platform every month. The number of e-invoices has doubled over the previous year, showing a growing awareness of the benefits it brings.

On the 14th of July, 2005 the regulations from the Ministry of Finance regarding the raising and sending of invoices in electronic form, as well as their safekeeping and availability to tax authorities (or tax auditors) came into effect. Transmission of electronic invoices is provided by Comarch ECOD Operator, and electronic storage by Comarch ECOD Archive.
