Already nearly 35% of energy companies in the largest cities enjoy Comarch’s utilities solutions. Comarch has signed another contract for the supply and implementation of an Integrated Information System based on the Comarch utilities solution (including the Comarch Egeria and Workflow products) with Urban Heat Supply Company (MPEC) in Bialystok.
The agreement signed on August 17th 2009 stipulates implementation of the system by the end of March 2011 (a portion of the modules by the end of 2010). Currently, MPEC uses solutions from different manufacturers. Thanks to the integrated system it will be possible to merge all the processes of the company through a business management tool.
Comarch has completed one of the largest ERP implementations in Polish heating in recent years. The Gdansk Heating Company (GPEC) has successfully implemented Comarch Egeria. Based on the experience it has gained, GPEC has decided to introduce additional functionality to the system and extend the implementation. An agreement was signed in June.
Implementation will reduce the costs related to administration, the standardization of procedures and business processes, data integration and consolidation of the results for the group’s owner.
Both the GPEC and MPEC Bialystok projects utilize modules that are based on the Comach Utilities package, including billing and workflow based on Comarch Workflow. These systems support a number of processes such as customer service after the realization of investment and repair tasks, integration of the entire enterprise and elimination of paper circulation.
