The latest Truffle 100 ranking presents hundred of the biggest European IT companies which provide services for business. Comarch appears in the Truffle 100 for the second time.

Comarch advanced in the ranking from the 91st to the 50th place. In 2011 Comarch had 190,4 million euro of total income, and 139,3 million euro of software revenues. Comarch was one of two Polish companies mentioned in the ranking. 

European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, Marie Geoghegan- Quinn underlined that Truffle report shows that the European software sector remains a force to be reckoned with, despite current economic difficulties. Truffle Capital’s general partner and co-founder Bernard Louis Roques also emphasized that the software industry is extremely dynamic, indicating that software vendors are unique, because they create jobs for new generations, enhance productivity and economic growth.

The Truffle 100 ranking is prepared each year by IDC & CXP Group under the auspices of the European Commission. The classification is prepared by IDC analysts based on the criterion of total revenue from the previous year.
