Comarch Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of shares in the A-MEA Informatik AG, which is one of the most important player on the Swiss ERP application market.

A-MEA Informatik AG based in Arbon, canton of Thurgau, has vast experience in ERP (ERP = Enterprise Resource Planning) and finance-accounting systems for small and medium-sized enterprises in German speaking countries: Germany, Switzerland, Austria. A-MEA processes a. 50 customer projects. The biggest ERP customer is Victorinox AG incl. Wenger SA which are broadly supported by A-MEA. The turnover of A-MEA Informatik AG amounts to ca. 4 million CHF per year; the company has 20 employees.

The main solution which A-MEA Informatik AG will offer is Comarch ERP Enterprise (in the past Comarch Semiramis ERP) – the new generation ERP system which was developed to optimally fulfill requirements of active international companies in the Internet age. With a completely new ergonomic user interface and its integrated WorkFlow, Comarch ERP Enterprise optimally maps business processes and organisational models.

According to Comarch CFO, Vice President of Comarch Konrad Taranski, the acquisition is a big step towards improving the position of Comarch Group on the Swiss IT market.

- The DACH market is of strategic significance for the Comarch Capital Group, says President of Comarch SA, professor Janusz Filipiak. Almost 30 proc. of the turnover of the Comarch Group comes from the German-language countries.
