CAFE for Insurance
Insurance companies typically use multiple information systems. As different programs work differently, customer service support operates on different applications running on different computers. The variety of work environments and the need to search for a number of databases increases handling time and reduces customer satisfaction. Today, nobody wants to wait indefinitely for an answer, especially when in need. Switches between systems during operation also frustrate the insurance company employees.
The Insurance Internet portal is built from a range of applications called “mashup”, and as a result makes it possible to provide efficient operation and to combine the different systems in one common environment.
