Comarch ALTUM lets you create user controls and permissions throughout the whole system to restrict access to sensitive information. Controls and permissions can be customized for user groups or individual users providing great flexibility for a company’s security needs. Security control is available independently for the operational part of the system (where documents are issued and accepted) and for business intelligence allowing for the restriction of access to reports and analysis.
Each of the types of documents available in the system has many parameters determining its functionality. These parameters can be easily set affecting the behavior of the system. Therefore, you can i.e. attribute a document series to sales invoices independently for each of your stores or store locations.
Depending on the business cycle, different statuses can be assigned to documents. The status setting variety in Comarch ALTUM allows for greater flexibility and customization of business processes. You can also determine which document statuses are to be omitted in a particular business process, which ones should be visible/invisible to certain users, and so on. Additionally, Business Process Management tools allow you to set a path for the document in the system by defining who enters it into the system, who approves it, and who’s able to modify it.
Comarch ALTUM lets you define a multi-level company structure that corresponding to the actual organization. As a result, you determine the headquarters, along with company branches and other company segments. Every system user is assigned to one or more user groups within the company structure. This determines their rights and permissions across the system and defines a supervisor.
