Data analysis tools

Comarch ALTUM reporting tools allow you to analyze data using pivot tables, graphs and many different types of charts. Thanks to the full integration of Business Intelligence with Comarch ALTUM your reports always contain actual data, and therefore deliver up-to-date information. This information can be displayed on a variety of predefined and ready-to-use reports and spreadsheets that contain information on sales, logistics, finance, accounting, CRM and cost management. In addition to readymade reports you’re always able to apply your changes using a variety of capabilities that come with these business intelligence tools:

  • Drag & Drop capabilities – add or remove metrics (income, margin, number of customers etc.) and dimensions (items, customers, time etc.) by simply using your mouse.
  • Change the time perspective - you can display historical data for a given date or any period of time.
  • Change the view – a report showing for example sales by customer can easily be transformed into a report displaying sales by product.
  • Drilling up & down and across – allows you to easily drill into more or less detailed perspectives such as changing year, to quarter, to month and day and then displaying the list of customers and products they bought.
  • Add or delete new measures and dimensions – it is simple to add purchases, purchase costs and margins achieved (measures) to the above report or to expand the analysis to a new territory (dimension). At any time you can also delete product or cost information with one click.
  • Adding or changing filters – it is easy to apply filters you like to your analysis so you can narrow the scope of your report for example to a particular warehouse, customer or product. You can also filter out many elements of a given dimension to create direct comparisons between two (or more) product lines, points of sale, cost centers and periods of time.
  • Apply rankings – it is easy to create rankings, such as showing the top 10 products based on sales revenue generated or the bottom 25 products based on the Days of Sales indicator.
  • Data sorting – this includes the option to present data as percentages from the totals.
  • Changing the data presentation method – it is easy to change from a graph to a table or display your data on a map.

At any time you may also export analyses results to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and maintain the link with Comarch ALTUM so that the data can be refreshed as time progresses. All of the reports within Comarch ALTUM can be stored in a library that all employees can access or in an area where only private groups can view them. Both the groups and the reports may be protected by passwords. Access may be defined for a user or a group of users.

You can set your data access policy to an even more detailed level with the ability to define what particular measures (sales levels, costs, payables, stock levels, etc.), dimensions (time, customers, products, documents, etc.) or even dimension sub-divisions (for example, people may have access only to data from the last three months, only their customers or products they are responsible for) that are accessible to your employees.

This ensures that information will not fall into the wrong hands, while at the same time making it possible to confidently allow employees access to information that will help them in their day-to-day work.

Subscriptions and e-BI

Comarch ALTUM allows you access your BI reports even when you are out of the office, using your web browser. This functionality, called e-BI, allows you to view and modify your reports online. Importantly, the information may be provided not only to a company's employees but also to your customers or suppliers, for example if you wish to notify them that you’re running out of products they supply.

In addition, thanks to subscription services, you can receive emails with BI reports directly to your inbox. You can set up as many subscriptions as you like. Of course while setting up a subscription service you have many options when it comes to choosing a specific kind of report, who receives it and the time intervals in which it will be delivered. When working with e-BI you are also able to review the historical versions of a given report.

Comarch ALTUM Mobile Manager

Comarch ALTUM Mobile Manager is a tool that allows for fast and intuitive overview and analysis of the most important data regarding company performance directly on your mobile device. As a result, managers are able to view complete company data at any time and any place, along with the capacity to automatically receive BI reports (via subscription services).
