The data mining engine in Comarch ALTUM allows you to carry out "data drilling” with the aim of finding relationships and dependencies between data. It allows you to answer business questions that traditionally were unexpected or too time consuming, such as which products are usually bought together or which types of customers prefer certain kinds of products.
The Reporting tool uses a full scale data warehouse with Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) technology – a data module that enables complex analytical queries with a rapid execution time. Reports can be created by users without any technical experience. Once created, reports are updated automatically and the data is processed in real-time, eliminating the need for hundreds of different spreadsheets. Of course, you can also view your reports in every web browser or on a mobile device screen, and have them automatically sent in defined intervals.

Business process management
Graphical tracking of processes
Since system processes may be modeled in the system graphically (thanks to a built-in graphical process editor), you are able to modify the existing processes or design entirely new ones. The process is displayed as a graphic flowchart which helps you with assigning each action that the system or the employee needs to take to each step within the process.
Employee inbox for tasks and messages
With an employee’s personal inbox you can preview information, respond to messages or make decisions – in other words, you perform all the actions assigned to you in a given process definition. Additionally, the full functionality of an employee’s inbox is available in an MS Outlook interface so you don’t even have to run your ERP system to be able to take the required actions.

Commerce
Time efficiency was one of the main goals during the creation of Comarch ALTUM. In order to deliver higher efficiency in the field of trade we have developed innovative functionalities such as:
- Quick sales that allows for the quick and easy creation of a sales invoice or receipt from the level of the item list. So once you have found the items that a customer wants to buy, you don’t have to open up another form, but just create the document with one click.
- The generation of documents avoids redundant input of information. It enables going through an entire business transaction and adding all the basic information only to the first document connected with this transaction. Based on this document, all the other documents can be created with one click with all the information being transferred automatically between those documents
- Handling sales and purchase processes using Comarch ALTUM workflow not only allows for the full or partial automation of those processes (e.g. the automatic generation of invoices), but also helps increase internal process quality (e.g. while handling customer claims).

Logistic
Reducing your inventory levels can bring a tremendous improvement to your cash flow and a reduction in costs. Comarch ALTUM stores information contained on all warehouse documents regarding current and historical stock levels and monetary values for each and every incoming and outgoing transaction, including the stock movement between your warehouses. Depending on your business processes, you can either create warehouse documents automatically with every sales or purchase invoice entered into the system, or manually (with one click from sales and purchase documents). Accounting entries
The chart of accounts in Comarch ALTUM can be adapted to the uniqueness of your company by for example, adapting its structure or using different types of accounts. Mobile
Comarch ALTUM Mobile solution has been developed in order to expand, and thus enable and facilitate the functions of the Comarch ALTUM ERP system into mobile devices. The solution provides the following three features for mobile use within your company:
